According to CDC, the Illinois Department of Public Health, and the Chicago Department of Public Health, the COVID Vaccine helps to reduce the need for hospitalizations. To date, COVID infections and deaths are due to the Delta variant. This variant is heavily impacting unvaccinated individuals especially those between ages 30s-50s. Please discuss with your Heath Care Provider the advantages and the risks of taking the COVID Vaccine. For Chicago residents
COVID Vaccines (Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson) can administered in your home by calling 312-746-4835 Monday through Friday 8:00AM-6:30PM.
WELCOME BACK TO WORSHIP AT OAKDALE!
Registration period for Sunday morning worship service will be 6:00 am Thursdays morning through 5:00 pm Saturday evening prior to the Sunday morning worship service .
Once your registration has been confirmed for the 10:30 am service please arrive at Oakdale between 9:30 am and 10:30 am.
Once you arrive, enter through the south door (door with ramp). After being checked in an usher will guide you towards your seat in the sanctuary, balcony, or Fellowship Hall. After service an usher will guide you to the exits. There should be NO socializing or congregating in sanctuary after service. Once service is over exit through north door with stairs unless ramp is needed.
There will be NO access to Oakdale Academy and Childcare. There will be NO ministry meetings until further guidance from Chicago Department of Public Health and the Illinois Department of Public Health..

Wednesday Morning Bible Study with Pastor Griffin will be on Zoom ONLY.
Wednesday evening B.L.A.S.T.! will be ONLINE ONLY.
Oakdale Christian Academy
Learning for Pre-K and kindergarten will be in person .
1st through 8th grade will meet ONLINE ONLY.
Ministry Events/Activities
At this time we still are unable to hold in-person gatherings other than Sunday Morning Worship, Many of our ministry meetings, small groups, fellowships and other events will continue to be held online so that we can continue with ministry. Please check our website regularly to learn about the upcoming events/activities that will be held virtually.
OCC Sponsored Travel and Mission Trips – CANCELLED until further notice

WHAT YOU CAN DO?
Hygiene – We encourage hand washing with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. Additionally, we are providing hand sanitizer throughout our campuses. Due to a shortage of supply and high demand, we ask that you bring your own personal hand sanitizer. When coughing or sneezing cover your mouth using your upper sleeve or with tissue; discard tissue immediately.
Resources – We can each do our part in sharing with those in need. Some retailers are experiencing a shortage of basic sanitation items. Please only purchase what is needed in your home and share what you have with others.

Ushers
- Will escort you to your seat. Children will be seated with their parents to maintain physical distancing
- Will guide you to the exits after service has ended
Deacons/Ushers
- Will provide the communion packets on the first Sunday as you enter the building
- Packets will be placed in waste baskets as you exit the building
Requirements to attend worship service
- No COVID related symptoms, no positive diagnosis of COVID infection
- Complete online registration (Thursday-Saturday) at oakdalecov.org under COVID updates or call the Church office at 773-779-9440 (Thursday – Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM) for assistance with your registration
- Use hand sanitizer at the door
- Face mask to cover mouth and nose (exceptions children under 2 years old)
- Check in and temperature checks
